Under the motto “Empowering Diversity”, the AI Hackathon takes place, hosted and organized by T-Labs Intelligence team and Telekom Mobility Solutions. The Hack4Mobility aims to find solutions to improve mobility. The goal of the Diversity Hackathon is to educate and empower everyone to become involved.
The field of mobility has great potential for optimization. There will be provided interesting data with new challenges. The Hackathon is all about programming, contributing and benefitting from technologies like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
We are looking for tech-savvy people from all fields. Teams should combine different ages, origin, genders, religions, educations or sexual orientations. Everyone should come with tech-skills like software programming, graphic design and data science, but we also want this hackathon to offer lot of educational take-aways. …
We are happy to announce that Claudia Pohlink, Head of our Intelligence team, will be a judge at Deep Tech Award 2020 together with representatives of different companies & entrepreneurs.
The Deep Tech Award (www.deeptechberlin.de) is organized by the Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe and Europäische Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) within the framework of the Landesinitiative Projekt Zukunft (www.projektzukunft.berlin.de). The award will be distributed in the areas of AI, IoT & Industry4.0, blockchain, digital security and socialtech.
Claudia Pohlink will assess for the category artificial intelligence, rating software and hardware of the solutions as well as criteria like unique selling proposition and value for the customers. The award will be granted end of August 2020.

The Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) is the world’s largest startup competition for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges. John Calian, Head of T-Labs will take part as one of the judges.
XTC® connects innovators with a network of investors, corporations, and mentors to help them raise capital, launch corporate collaborations, and scale their world changing startups. The Extreme Tech Challenge is backed by world leading corporations. Finalists will have the chance to attend a bootcamp to connect with corporate leaders and active investors. The participants can win in the 7 categories Health, Education, Cleantech, AgTech, FinTech, Smart Cities, Enabling Technologies. There are additionally two new special prizes: The Covid-19 Innovation Award and the Female Founder Innovation Award.

On Wednesday, June 24 2020, one T-Labs colleague Dr. Marlene Gerneth of the Blockchain Group, will hold a presentation about challenges and experiences while using agile project management methods in R&D. She will furthermore talk about the balancing act between creativity, agility and methodology.
You will find out, what kind of projects are carried out in the T-Labs Blockchain Group, how work is done in these projects and how the program management acts as a bridge function between agile working in the projects on the one hand and the requirements of a more traditional project management with the well-known PM processes like budget management, comm management, procurement management etc. on the other hand.

Mobile World Congress 2020: here we come!
Telekom Innovation Laboratories (T-Labs) team is excited to join the upcoming Mobile World Congress happening as usual in Barcelona, in between 24- 27 of February 2020. In view of this our teams are preparing their participation intensively. Our contributions for this year will be coming from the area of blockchain, intelligence and experience. We are delighted to announce the launch date of the one-of-its-kind blockchain emobility solution the XRide. In essence it is an ecosystem that uses blockchains to ease the user experience greatly, while also protecting the private data of the users such as identity, credit card information and similar information which are collected by the current solution.
The Xride launch event will take place September 11, 2019, so block the date. It’s a walk in event open for everyone and will take place at Deutsche Telekom’s assembly area at Landgrabenweg 151, Bonn. Arrive and check-out the decentralized mobility solution that our blockchain team and partners have built.
